Meriwether County} This Indenture made and entered into this Eighteenth day of February Eighteen hundred and thirty nine. Between William T. Wortham of the County and state aforesaid of the one part and Isaac D Braswell of the other part Witnesseth that the said William T. Wortham for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the signing sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the said Isaac D Braswell his heirs, assigns - all that tract or parcel of land situate , lying and being in the eleventh District of originally Troup now Meriwether County And known and distinguished in the plan of said District by the number forty four, having such shape, form and marks as may appear by reference to the Plat which is annexed to the Grant said lot Containing two hundred two and a half acres more or less To have and to hold the said bargained property with all and singular the rights members appertenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining thereto. I the said William T. Wortham do warrant and will forever defend an absolute right in fee Simple on and to the said lot of land Containing two hundred two and a half acres more or less, unto the said Isaac D Braswell his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns forever against me, my heirs and assigns, and all and every other person or persons whatsoever claiming the same or any part thereof.
