Hugh CAMPBELL of Norfolk County to Owen “BURN” of Isle of Wight County, for 4000 pounds of tobacco, “one parcel of Land containing two hundred Acres of Land situate, lying, & being on y’e main Blackwater in Isle of Wight County being part of an Escheat Patten for thirteen hundred & eleven Acres of Land granted to y’e sd Hugh CAMPBELL bearing date ye 21st of Aprill 1695 beginning upon Blackwater running up into y’e woods a mile upon Richd BRASSELLs branch or on y’e branch betwixt y’e sd Hugh CAMPBELL & y’e sd Richd BRASSELLs & so running such a breadth as will make two hundred Acres so running a mile back again to y’e main swamp, & then to y’e first station - -“ Signed September 19, 1698. Witnessed by J___ ELLIS and Thomas GROSS. GROSS acknowledged the deed in open court on October 30, 1698.
