Arthur Braswell Admr Bond
Know all men by these presents That we Arthur Braswell, Lewis Bullard and Asa G. Braswell are held and firmly bound unto the honorable the Justices of the Inferior Court, setting for Ordinary purposes for the County of Washington and State of Georgia in the just and full sum of Four thousand Dollars which payment well and truly to be made, we and each of us do bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, firmly by these presents - Sealed with our Seal, and dated this third day of November 1851. The condition of this obligation is such, that if the above bound Arthur Braswell Administrator of the Goods, chattels and credits of William A. Braswell deceased, do make a true and perfect inventory of all and Singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of the said Arthur Braswell, or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the same to be made, do exhibit to the Court of ordinary, when thereunto required: and such goods, chattels and credits, do well and truly administer according to law, and do make a just and true account of his actings and doings therein, when required by the court aforesaid: and all the rest of the goods, chattels and credits, which shall be found remaining upon the account of the said Administration the same being first allowed by the said court shall deliver and pay to such persons respectively as are entitiled to the same by law: and if it shall hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased, and the executor obtain a certificate of the probate thereof, and the said Arthur Braswell do in such case if required, render and deliver up said letters of Administration, then this obligation to be void, else to remain in force, power and virtue.
