DB 1-465 William BRASWELL of Edgecombe to Samuel BRASWELL of same, Jan. 25, 1762, for 10 pounds a tract of 196 acres on the north bank of Pig Basket Creek adjoining both parties and Wm. HUNT, IRBY, and Robert YOUNG, it being part of a tract of 393 acres granted to said William BRASWELL by Earl GRANVILLE bearing date 1761. Witness: James HALE, David BRASWELL
DB D-322 William (W) HUNT of Edgecombe County to Sam’l BRASWELL of same, Nov. 10, 1770, for 25 pounds Virginia money a tract of 100 acres adjoining LAKE, it being part of a GRANVILLE grant to William BRASWELL by deed bearing date July 24, 1761. Witness: William BRASWELL, Edw. TYLER, N.B. Samuel BRASWELL became “culpable” for the Quit Rent to John Earl of GRANVILLE from the date of the year 1768.
DB D-342 William (W) HUNT of Edgecombe County to Jesse HUNT of same, Nov. 10, 1770, for 16 pounds Virginia money a tract of 100 acres, it being the moiety of a tract of 200 acres conveyed by William BRASWELL, Senr to William HUNT by a deed bearing date March 23, 1762. Witness: William BRASWELL, Edw’d TYLER.
