And it appears James Braswell Jr. is on the 1786 state census with Lemuel Hogun, Herman Strickland, Thomas Taylor, a William Cain, a James Cain etc.

James Braswell Sr is believed to be the son of Susannah Burgess Braswell who named a son James in her 1714 IOW Co., VA will.
