Taking into consideration a James Braswell appears in Screven Co., GA in 1802, with a Turner Braswell appearing in the same county in 1805, and the DNA match of Elijah Braswell of Halifax, Co., NC and the following records, the conclusion can logically be drawn that Turner & James Braswell are most likely brothers and sons of Simon Braswell & Mary Turner who married in Edgecombe Co., Nc in 1764.
