Jesse, Sally & Jeremiah Braswell, Nash Co., NC 1821

This Indenture made the 24th of February One Thousand Eight Hundred & twenty One Between Jesse Braswell and his wife Sally of the County of Nash and State of North Carolina of the One part and Jeremiah Braswell of the County and State aforesaid of the Other part Witnesseth that the said Jesse Braswell and Sally his wife for and inconsideration of the Sum of Two Hundred Dollars to us in hand paid by the said Jeremiah Braswell before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Jesse Braswell and Sally his wife doth hereby acknowledge and in consequence thereof hath given granted bargained Sold and delivered unto the said Jeremiah Braswell his heirs and assigns a a (?) certain tract or parcel of Land Lying in the County of Nash and State aforesaid on the South side of Red Bud Creek Containing 120 Acres more or less and bounded as follows To Wit beginning at a black Jack Sills Corner and receiving north 2--west 193 poles to an ----in red bud Creek gauts line thence East 113 poles to a spanish Oak thence South 200 poles to a stake in said Sills line thence to the first station with the appertainances thereunto belonging and every part and parcel thereof to have and to hold the aforesaid bargained premises unto the said Jeremiah Braswell his heirs Exrs Admrs and assigns and the said Jesse Braswell and his wife Sally for themselves and their heirs Exrs & Admrs doth hereby agree to and with the said Jeremiah Braswell his heirs and assigns to warrant forever defend the title and property of the above mentioned Lands and premises against the Lawful Claim or Claims of all persons whatsoever unto the sd Jeremiah Braswell his heirs and assigns in Witness whereof the said Jessse Braswell and his Wife Sally hath hreunto set and affixed their hands and seals this the day and date first above Written. R Donald one of the Judges of the Superior Courts of Law and Equity for
the State aforesaid ca----Jesse Braswell one of the bargainors and
acknowledged the Execution of the foregoing deed by him and afterwards came Sally Braswell the other bargainor and wife of the said Jesse Braswell and was prively examined by -- -----
and apart from her husband to acting the Execution thereof by him and upon such examination acknowledged that she executed the same freely and without Compulsion let it be registered
