* Orphans of William L. Braziel, Jackson Co., GA, 1821

- September 3, Orphans of W. Braziel dec'd

George Rapalec Braziel came into Court & prayed that his brother John M. Braziel be appointed his Guardian - and the Court appointed the said Jno. M. Braziel Guardian for Polly Braziel (they being orphan children of W. Braziel dec'd) It is therefore ordered that the said Jno M. Braziel be & he is hereby appointed their Guardian

On application William Braziel & Headen Braziel orphan sons of Wm Braziel dec'd praying that Amos Brazelton be appointed their Guardian It is ordered that he be and is hereby appointed Guardian for said orphans



Georgia) Know all men by these presents that we Amos

Jackson County) Braselton & John M. Brazeal are held & firmly bound unto their honor the judges of the Court of Ordinary for said County & their successors in office in the just & full sum of five hundred dollars for the payment of which sum to the said Judges & their successors we bind ourselves our heirs executors & administrators Jointly & severally firm by these presents sealed with our seals & dated this 3rd day of September 1821.

The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the said Amos Braselton is this day appointed Guardian for William C. Brazeal & Robert H. Brazeal orphans of William Brazeal. Now if the said Amos Braselton do well & truly demean himself as Guardian aforesaid agreeably to letters of Guardianship bearing even date herewith & agreeably to law in such case made & provided the above obligation be void otherwise to remain in full force & virtue.
