Elizabeth, Guilford, Benjamin, Penelope Braswell, Nash Co., NC 1833

This Indenture made this twenty first day of February AD Eighteeen hundred and thirty three between Elizabeth Guilford Benjamin and Penelope Braswell all of the County of Nash and State of North Carolina of the one part and Benjamin Denson of the County & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred and Seventy Dollars to us in hand paid by the Said Benjamin Denson have Bargained Sold and ------ and by these presents doth Bargain Sell and Convey unto the Said Benjamin Denson a Certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county and State aforesaid on the north Side of great branch bounded as follows Viz Beginning at a red oak on the road then South ---- 139- poles to a dogwood in Etherage line then South along Said line 198 poles to a spanish oak Ricks Corner then west 7- poles to a poplar on the Bank of the great branch then North 106 poles to a white oak then west ---poles to a Hickory on the road (?) then to the Beginning containing One hundred and Seven Acres be the same more or less to him the Said Benjamin Denson to have and to hold the same with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging and we the Said Elizabeth Guilford Benjamin and Penelope Braswell do Warrant and defend the right and title of Said Land to be good to the Said Benjamin Denson and his heirs forever against any ---- claims or demand whatsoever In Witness Whereof We have hereunto Set our hands and Seals the day and year above Written Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of us

Also in February 1833: (I bet the above Braswells are the children of Jacob Jr., his father Jacob Sr died 1823, ten years prior.)
