1828 - December 19, Crissy Braswell, Jetty Griffin, Elizabeth Griffin, Jr. and Simion Griffin of Edgecombe County to John Williams of Edgecombe County for $330, a tract of land beginning at a pine in Henry Griffin's deceased corner then north along Thomas Williams line 115 poles to a lightwood stake then west 168 poles to a lightwood stump then south 115 poles to a lightwood stake in said Griffin's line then east along said Griffin's line 168 poles to the first station, containing 120 acres.
