Edgecombe Co, NC 1732-1758

Edgecombe Precinct, North Carolina was formed from Bertie in 1732 and Edgecombe County was formed in 1741.

In 1751 the Gregorian calendar was adopted in Great Britain and the first day of the new year was changed from 25 March to 1 January.
